Historic 14th century Duns Castle is situated in the heart of the rolling hills, fields and trees of the beautiful Scottish Borders on the edge of the little market town of Duns. An imposing Scottish Castle, Duns is a unique combination of private home and exclusive use, luxury venue.

The Hay family has owned the Castle since 1696, and along with their dedicated staff welcome guests to their home, which retains a very intimate and personal feel in spite of its historic grandeur and furnishings. Duns Castle offers total seclusion although shops, bars and restaurants are within walking distance.

Duns Castle is a beautiful setting for that special day or a longer weekend wedding celebration. Fully licensed as a wedding venue it is suitable for small as well as larger wedding parties. Freshly prepared Scottish produce, in-house wine list and, if required a professional piper and/or dancers for entertainment – very charming, very Scottish.

The main Castle sleeps up to 23 and there are ancillary houses sleeping up to a further 25. Groups of up to 60 may be seated to dine in the great hall. There are ample grounds for marquees, sporting and leisure activities.
