Described as one of the most romantic Castles in England, Sudeley Castle offers a truly unique and breathtaking wedding venue in the heart of the glorious Cotswolds. With romantic ruins and award winning gardens, Sudeley Castle can provide the perfect fairytale setting for your wedding.
In addition to the stunning visual aspect of Sudeley’s grounds, the rich history and heritage of the Castle provide a fascinating backdrop which spans over a thousand years. Queen Katherine Parr lived here and is entombed in St Mary’s Church, and the Castle was once under the ownership of the infamous Henry VIII, who visited Sudeley with Anne Boleyn in 1535.
The team at Sudeley Castle have recently received recognition for their commitment to excellence. Sudeley was awarded the accolade of Wedding Venue of the Year at the Wedding Retailer awards and the gardens have been voted as one of the top five gardens to visit in the South West.
Wedding co-ordinator Debbie Hillyard says: ‘Sudeley is an elegant and truly unique venue. With over 1200 acres of grounds and the glorious gardens we are able to offer unlimited options, from intimate dinners to lavish marquees.’
