The perfect venue for your special day, Blakesley Hall (Grade II* listed), is a delightfully restored timber-framed Elizabethan house set amidst idyllic grounds and with fine period interiors.
Built in 1590 for Richard Smallbroke, a wealthy gentleman, Blakesley Hall provides a marvellous insight into the social aspirations of the Tudor middle-classes. In 2000 Blakesley Hall underwent a major restoration and redevelopment project.
The Hall's interiors have been accurately restored to create a wonderful period house based on the 1684 inventory and the grounds landscaped to provide a beautiful and tranquil location for your wedding. With formal lawns, an orchard, a traditional herb garden and herbaceous borders, the site offers excellent opportunities for photographs. Blakesley Hall is the perfect venue for the smaller wedding. The ceremony will take place in either the Great Hall or the 17th century barn. The Hall is finely furnished in the 17th century style and provides a wonderful, atmospheric setting for the ceremony.
It is available during weekends and weekdays in the school holidays from November until the end of March. This venue seats up to 40 people and is available to hire at a cost of £840. The Barn is the larger of our two rooms. It is available during weekends and school holidays throughout the year. This venue seats up to 60 people and is available to hire at a cost of £735.
